Everett Spencer Molino

Everett Spencer Molino was a vibrant 15-year-old boy who brought joy and

inspiration to all who knew him. He passed away on March 15, 2023, leaving

behind a family and community deeply grieving his loss. Everett was born on

November 9, 2007, and from the moment he entered the world, was a special gift

to his loving family and all those around him.

At the age of two, Everett was diagnosed with Autism, and though he was

nonverbal, he expressed joy in many ways. With love and assistance from his

devoted parents, Everett lived a full and active life. Everett’s father, Silas, was his

constant companion and utilized much of his own personal time to accompany

Everett to any place he went as he required constant supervision. They could be

found running in the turkey trot together, attending scouting activities, and

participating in church youth group events. His mother, Anne, loved him dearly

and was his tireless advocate. Since his autism diagnosis at two years old, she

worked closely with various special needs organizations and the Redlands Unified

School District to ensure he could reach his full potential. They shared a special

bond as she cared and nurtured him with patience and kindness. Everett was

blessed with three wonderful siblings Xander, Clara and Owen. Together with

their parents, Everett became the focus of their family. His safety and well-being

took precedence in their lives.

As a community, many people had the opportunity to serve Everett by teaching,

caring for and helping him grow and develop. He was often recognized out in the

community because of their service to Everett. Everett was able to learn to read

and actively participate in his classroom activities, although much of his language

was memorized dialogue from Disney movies. He was a high school student at

Redlands East Valley High School at the time of his passing and spent all of his

education within the Redlands Unified School District. The love many felt for this

remarkable boy and his special needs grew deep. The family wishes to thank all

those church leaders, educators and professionals who were involved in his care,

growth and development.

Everett taught us that love and laughter are more important than many things we

value in life. He showed us that sometimes, all you need is to watch a Disney

movie with your family and have a good meal to be happy. He reminded us that

wearing shoes is not always ideal and that there is beauty and wonder to be

found in the world all around us. As we mourn Everett’s passing, we remember

the light he brought into our lives and the countless ways he touched our hearts.

Everett is survived by his parents, Silas and Anne Molino as well as his siblings

Xander, Clara and Owen. He is also survived by his grandparents Lynn and

Melody Nelson and Alexander and Kimberly Molino. He also has many aunts,

uncles, cousins and community members who will miss him greatly.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 10:00 AM. They will be

located at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 350 South Wabash,

Redlands, CA 92374.
