Eva Grace Crum

January 25, 1918 — November 17, 2013

Eva Grace Crum age 95 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 17 at 3:55 am in Newton, Iowa. She entered this world on January 25, 1918 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She met Robert Nelson Crum in Inglewood High School and they married in June 1939. They celebrated their 71st anniversary before he departed this earth in 2010 at age 96. Grace was a resident active in PTA, church and Women s Christian Temperance Union in Redlands 1945 -1967. Then she became manager of the upper campus dining room for Azusa Pacific College. Bob & Grace travelled with SOWERS doing construction projects in California, Nevada and Oregon. They moved to Colorado for a time then to northern California. After they settled in Yucaipa in 1998, Grace was active in church and community activities and was a care provider for her husband and others. In 2006 they moved to Iowa so their daughter could help with their care. Family members here to honor her are: daughter Eloise (John) Prater of Iowa, son Bill (Arlene) Crum of Janesville, CA, and son Glenn (Florence) Crum of Redlands. Grace leaves seven grandchildren: Ron (Melissa) Crum, Tammy (Marvin) Benner, Dale Crum, Debby (Jerome) Winn all of CA, Timothy (Rhonda) Prater of TX, James (Patti) Prater of NE, and Zach (Amy) Crum of WA, twelve great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, her sister Hazel Wolter, brother-in-law Phil (Betty) Crum of CA and eleven nieces & nephews. The family will be present for visitation at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel from 10-11:30 am on Friday December 6, 2013. Interment with graveside service will be in the Crum family plot in Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood, CA. at 2:00pm Emmerson Bartlett is handling the arrangements.
