Edward Louis Villalpando

Edward Louis Villalpando died Wednesday September 22, 2021, in Redlands, CA at age 64. He was born in Loma Linda, CA on July 19, 1957, to parents Joe and Rosie Villalpando.

Known to his friends and family as Eddie, he graduated from Redlands High School in 1976, where he played defensive linebacker. Eddie loved sports and his love for sports lived on when he had his son Ryan.
Eddie married his high school sweetheart, Lisa Peake in 1976. They had a son, born February 22, 1977 (deceased February 13, 2010) and in April 1982 they gave birth to their daughter, Erikka.

Eddie was a dedicated family man; he spent his time coaching his son Ryan in various sports throughout the years.
He coached in Redlands Baseball for Youth and Redlands Recreation Community Basketball. Eddie was also very involved in Parents for Terrier Football Booster Club while his son Ryan played football at RHS.
He loved going to his parent’s house for family gatherings where all his brother and sisters, nieces and nephews were in attendance.

In more recent years Eddie was drawn to thoroughbred racing and was part of a racing group, Abbondanza Racing. Where he enjoyed early mornings at the stables visiting his horses and their trainers. He also enjoyed going to the horse races and watching his horse on the track.

Eddie was the life of any party. He could make everyone laugh and always had a positive attitude. He was a very generous man who would always help someone in need.
Eddie had a big heart, and his smile was infectious.

Eddie is survived by his wife Lisa Villalpando, his daughter Erikka Moser, son-in-law Jeff Moser, his sisters Bobbi Villalpando, Karen McPeck, Janet Connor and brothers David Villalpando, Tommy Villalpando and Jeremy Villalpando.

Eddie Villalpando’s Celebration of Life will be held at Emmerson Bartlett in Redlands, CA on October 14, 2021, at 3:00 pm.
