Douglas Alan Kicak

Douglas Alan Kicak, who loved doing landscape work, dies of a heart attack Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in Loma Linda, CA. He was 51. Douglas was born on August 1, 1962 in San Diego, CA. He graduated from Poway High School and he went on to attend San Jacinto Community College, Crafton College and finally Cal State San Bernardino where he earned his bachelor s degree in business. Over the years, Douglas worked on a number of landscaping projects. He is preceded in death his sister, Dr. Donna Marie Kicak-Nielsen, who passed away April 13, 2001 and his brother, Darryl Lyndon Kicak, who passed away July 3, 2006. Douglas is survived by his loving parents, Peter Joseph Kicak and Jane Mary Kicak of Temecula, CA; brother, David Kicak,of Temecula, CA; his partner of over 15 years, Curtis Jones, of Yucaipa, CA. A memorial service to celebrate his live will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 1:00pm at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 35208 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, CA.
