Donald Gene Kelly

Born, "Donald Gene Kelly A.K.A. Duck"
In Las Vegas, NV to Janice W. Brown. As a toddler with his mother and two older sisters, Laticia and Vanesha, they moved to Redlands, Ca. Where he would spend most of his school years growing up at Grandmother Nolas house, along with his family. As a kid he would love to play basketball at the Community Center on Washington St. Here at the age of 8, he met the Mena boys, Marty, Luis, Matthew and the Molina family. Quickly they became his second family that would last his lifetime. Adrianna Castaneda was his loving girlfriend for 5 years up to his passing. Donald graduated in 2004 form Redlands East Valley High School (REV). At the age of 23 along with Brooke Blake, they were blessed with a son Jayden Kelly, on Dec 10, 2009.
Donald worked hard as a warehouse laborer for 10 years, 5 of those for Walmart. Working out at the GYM was a passion of his. He loved showing off his muscles. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. Along with his mad love for good food, cooking, fashion and FAMILY. Most of all his love for his son JJ.
With a presence that could light up the room, a smile from ear to ear and his dapper personality, he had many friends who loved him.
Donald G. Kelly passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2020 and was preceded in death by
Grandpa Brown, Grandpa Joe Molina, Brother Marty Joe Mena and several other friends taken to young.
He is survived by: Son Jayden N. Kelly, 10
Mother Janice W. Brown, Grandmother Nola Brown, Sisters Laticia Kelly and Vanesha Kelly,
Two nieces and four nephews:
LaJanae Elliott, Taliyah Downing, LaShaun Bennett, Nicolas Loaiza , Alexander Loaiza and LaMauri Myles
Aunts and Uncles:
Gwen Brown her children and grandchildren, Faye and Johnny Taylor their children, grand and great grandchildren, Vivian and Richard Cardwell their son and grandchildren,
Karen James her children, Leah Brown and James Matthews and their children and grandchildren.
