Diane "Sweepea" Contreras
Sweepea at the young age of 69 peacefully received her angel wings February 5th, 2021. She was born April 26th, 1951 in San Bernardino, CA to Frank and Carmen Avila.
Sweepea was the most loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who always put others before herself. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she was very proud of. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son Derek Contreras and daughter-in-law Ceci of Colton, CA. Her daughter Kim Rivera and son-in-law Joe of Las Vegas, NV. Eight grandchildren - Derek Jr., Aiden, Ryan, Chloe Contreras, and Jacob, Joey, Jessica, and Justin Rivera. Also, five great grandchildren - Gia Rose Contreras, Noah, Bella, Adrienne, and Jacob Rivera.
Plus, sister Geri Avila of Santa Cruz, CA and brother Dino Avila of Colton, CA.
Sweepea is preceded in death by her Mom & Dad, Carmen and Frank Avila, and brother Bosco Avila.
"Dont grieve for me, for now Im free, Im following the path God laid for me. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow."
