Daun Michelle Orr

Daun Michelle Orr, was born on May 31, 1967, At San Bernardino Community hospital to Leonette Daun and Fred Flatt. She died on Wednesday, October 21st, 2020.
She was such a curious youngster that at the age of 10, she took the Television apart and put it back together again, and it did work!
She loved helping her maternal grandparents, Leo and Helen Daun, (where she got her name) and helped her grandpa on his farm and orchards to water the orange groves.
She loved electronics and after high school graduation from Redlands High School, she decided to join the Air Force, where she did education in electronics and was so good with it the Air Force would send her to solve electronic problems on the planes. One story she told was that when she fixed a problem on a plane, the pilot asked what the problem was, and she replied, "It was the ID-10-T in the pilots seat." (Idiot, get it?)
She loved being stationed in Holland (where she sustained a severe back injury while in the Air Force). She took many pictures of the flowers there. And she was able to go to Germany where she found the town of "DAUN, Germany" where her grandpas ancestors were from!
She was a fun loving girl, who is survived by Her dad, Fred Flatt, her brother Justin Orr, sister Sheri Meyers, mom, Leonette DiMuro, stepdad Michael DiMuro, and lots of relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Daun's honor to your favorite charity.
Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 18th, 2020 at 10:30am at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA.
