Consuelo Gomez Martinez

Consuelo Gomez Martinez was called to be in God’s eternal resting place on February 20, 2018.  Consuelo died peacefully at Cedar Mountain Nursing Home, where she had resided for the past 26 months.  She retired after working 20+ years at Sears and enjoyed her retirement by spending time with loved ones and friends. Consuelo was a long time resident of Redlands and attended Holy Name of Jesus Church.  She enjoyed volunteering and was involved in the community. Consuelo was preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo L. Martinez, her siblings, Abigail, Graciano, and Sally Gomez.  She is survived by her sister Elisa Prado; children, Miguel, Yolanda and Richard; grandchildren Jennifer, Faith, Kristen, Gabrielle, and Zachariah, and many beloved nieces and nephews.  Her Vigil will be held at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, Redlands March 7, 2018, 5:00 – 8:00 pm.  Funeral mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus on Columbia, March 8, 2018, 10:00 am, burial directly following mass.
