Clinton Dewitt Putnam

Clinton DeWitt Putnam, 33, died December 26, 2011, at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs after a courageous seven-year battle with brain cancer.

He was a twin born August 2, 1978 to Tom and Sheryl Putnam in Hemet, California.  Clint attended Yucaipa High School.  It was at church summer camp in his junior high school years that Clint came to Christ.  He was an 18year resident of Yucaipa, more recently becoming a first time homeowner in Banning.  He was employed by Russell s Heating and AirConditioning for nine years.  He worked continuously during his cancer journey until the last two months.  He loved dirt biking and deep sea fishing.  Clint and his wife attended The Well Church in Yucaipa. 

He is survived by his wife of three months Katie Hines Putnam, the daughter of Bob and Glenna Hines; his parents Tom and Sheryl Putnam of Yucaipa; brother Todd and his wife Mindy of Rancho Cucamonga; brotherLoren Putnam and wife Paola of Anaheim; sister Bethany Putnam of Yucaipa; grandmother Elizabeth Hammond of Victorville; Aunt Barbara Hammond Hart of Victorville; Uncle Clif Putnam of Canyon Country; Aunt Nancy Chairenza and her husband Vince of Rosemond; Aunt Connie Rhodesand her husband Rich of Beaumont; many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his twin sister Christy Putnam, his Aunt Anne Putnam, his grandparents Everette and Leslie Putnam and his grandfather Walter Hammond.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 11 a.m. at Set Free Church at 13700 Calimesa Blvd. in Yucaipa. Pastors Ron Wood and Willie Dalgity will officiate.
