Clair Nyman Opdahl

Clair Nyman Opdahl, 98, died peacefully in his sleep July 11, 2014, in Granada Hills. Born in Havre, Montana, he was a resident of Granada Hills who had resided in in Minne sota, South Dakota and Yucai pa up to 2006. He was a retired project manager for Gamble-Skogmo, Inc. of Minneapolis for 30 years. Clair is survived by his son, Loren C. Opdahl and his wife of Oakdale, Montana; daughter Norma Jean Day of Newhall; sister Jorine Sweeney of Gardenia; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Elva, who passed in 2006. Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 28, at 11 a.m. at Prince of Peace Luth eran Church at 31784 Yucaipa Blvd. with graveside services following at Desert Lawn Mem- orial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to charities of your choice.
