Chung Hi Yeun

Chung Hi Yeun, 65, of Colton, California, entered eternal rest the morning of Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, California. Chung was adored and treasured by all who knew him. Born in Vietnam, he loved America, where he raised a family and dedicated his life’s work. He tirelessly devoted over 30 years of professional work in the mass-manufacturing industry, specifically, injection blow molding of plastics. Chung was a consummate professional in his field. A subject matter expert, he was a sought after Master Set-up Mechanical Technician at California Foods Industries, Captive Plastics and Berry Plastics.
Chung touched many lives; he was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. His son and wife survive him. His loving family includes his step-son and step-daughter, Otto Giron and Veronica Giron, and grandchildren, Justin Giron, Jasmine Ellison and Cristopher Giron, all of Colton. In addition, he leaves behind his loving and devoted brother Hi Shi Yeun and his sons Donny and Alan along with sister Mai Yeun Vo and her children Diem Trang, Vannhi, Vu, Judy, Davis, and Melissa. He will be deeply missed; his thoughtful family will tenderly cherish his memory.
Chung accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior; he was a man of faith and virtuous character, his gentle smile will live with us forever. His viewing will be held Friday, April 6th; from 5 p.m. through 8 p.m. Funeral Services are Saturday, April 7th, at 11a.m., both held at Emmerson-Bartlett Funeral Home located at 703 Brookside Avenue, in Redlands, California. Reception will follow after Saturday Funeral service, please see family for details. Burial Service is on Monday, April 9th, at 10 a.m., at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Avenue in Riverside, California. All services are open to anyone who wishes to pay final respects. He will be laid to rest and will join his daughter Lisa Kim Yeun and nephew Andy Yeun in eternal glory.
