Beth Ricaud

Beth Ricaud, 91, passed away on September 6, 2010, in Loma Linda of congestive heart failure. She was born in Sacramento on April 25, 1919. She was a retired clerk for the County of Sacramento where she worked for 21 years and a resident of Carmichael, Calif., for 57 years. She resided in Redlands since 2005 with her daughter. She was married for 51 years to husband Jean Pierre Ricaud who preceded in death in 1996. Beth was known for her wit, sense of humor and generosity. Anyone who met Beth soon became a lasting friend. She was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her only daughter Jeanine Ricaud Heaton of Redlands, granddaughter Lori Goodman and husband David Goodman of Hope Mills, N.C., grandson Mickey Heaton and wife Suzie Heaton of Redlands; four great-grandchildren: Adam Lenox of Hope Mills, N.C., Ashley Heaton, Joshua Heaton and Zachary Heaton of Redlands; sister-in-law Juliette Ricaud of Pico Rivera; and numerous close friends and family members. Memorial service will be held at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands, CA 92373 at 11 a.m. on September 18, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations to Breast Cancer Research or a charity of your choice. Interment will be at East Lawn Memorial Park in Sacramento at a future date.
