Aurelia Cherry Reyes

Aurelia "Cherry" Reyes, fell asleep in death, surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Augustine and Angelita Ruiz; her husband of 52 years Sammy; 2 baby daughters, Dolores and Rachel; her son, Sonny; her 2 grandchildren, Marie (Ria) Madrid and AnnMarie Reyes; her brothers, Jose, Alfred, Augustine Jr., Chano, Kayo, and Peter Ruiz; and her 3 sisters, Candida Martinez, Lucy Almaraz and Celia Ruiz. She is survived by her sister, Sadie Cabral; four children, Lolie, Billy, Rachel and Cindy; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was true to her faith, very giving and loving. She is described as "Pure at Heart." She was small, but powerful adding much spice to our lives. She was generous to all who knew or needed her. Her good example glorified her God Jehovah, may she be in his loving memory. A Memorial will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1280 Ford Street in Redlands at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 5th at Emmerson Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave., in Redlands at 11:00am. Burial to follow at Montecito Memorial Park, 3520 E. Washington Street in Colton.
