Adelbert Paul Husted, Jr.

Paul Husted, 95, of Yucaipa, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2015, at his home, surrounded by family. He was born in Los Angeles, California on March 5, 1920 to Edna and Dr. Adelbert Husted. Paul was the youngest child with a brother Dwight, and a sister Bernice. Paul went to Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles where he excelled in gymnastics, ranking number one in the state. He was a printer by trade and worked at various jobs including The Daily Pilot in Newport Beach, and Franklin Press in San Bernardino. Paul was married to Ann, the love of his life, for 58 years before her passing in 1999. They had 2 daughters, Susan Schaaf from Athol Idaho, and Robin Husted from Yucaipa. They also had 6 grandchildren, KIm, Paul, Jennifer, Lori, Adam, and Wendy, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Paul exemplified love, patience, humility, and grace that comes from being a life long Christ follower. He set a great example for us all and will be deeply missed by his adoring family.
